Motivation & Support / Post anything u want;-)

So, I just bought a Polar FT4 and wore it yesterday for the first time, it really pushed me to train harder and stay in my target zone, any advice from other polar owners to get the most out of it?

Yes, take it off and hit yourself in the head with it would be the only positive to buying something so stupid but the conclusion of it is it might knock some sense into you so you don't do it again

I bet you bought the WWJD bracelet and I balance bracelet as well lol

Don't even know what those are lol

I don't think hitting my head with it would do anything, it weights like 60 gr

Lol well it would be a constant reminder to make better buying decisions haha

Teen Zone / Do you love jesus?

My divine trinity would be George Carlin, Louis C.K. and Ricky Gervais, meaning: atheist, but I grow up on a christian family and my boyfriend is a methodist so I respect religion a lot :)

Motivation & Support / Uff.. diet is just so difficult. Can someone please give some tricks and ideas how to manage?

I don't believe in diets, they're stressful and if you cheat you feel guilty. You should be able to eat anything you like as long as you eat the right portions. I think eating healthy should be your goal, calculate your ideal calorie intake and macros and stick to that. My 'diet' includes peanut butter, Doritos, burguers, I even still eat muffins but all in the right amounts and not as often as I used to. I've lost 7 kg in 2 months and a half, the key is to be aware of how many calories you're eating and if that food you crave fits your macros combined with the meals you already had or are planning to have that day. With practice you dont even need to keep counting calories or worry about your macros, you learn to eat right ;)

Weight Loss / Clean eating? Help!!

I think basics is trying to eat from all food groups in the right amounts, lower sugars, avoid processed foods, drink more water and if you want to drink something with flavor go for tea instead of soda or sugary drinks.

You can find a lot of healthy recipes on www.eatingwell.com, eating veggies doesnt have to be as boring as boiled broccoli and a salad can be more than just lettuce and dressing, you can add goat cheese, dried cranberries, nuts, spinach, arugula, avocado, etc. And if you dont feel like having a salad you can try sauteed vegetables like zuccini, bell peppers, tomato... Sometimes I wrap all that in a tortilla with a fried egg and thats a very balanced tasty breakfast. Good luck ;)

Welcome Wagon / What's your job?

Graphic Designer, I've been working at a creative studio for 2 years now and I love it, first and only job I've had so I guess I made the right choice.

Weight Loss / How much weight have u lost?

14.4 lbs in 8 weeks, eating healthy (not on a diet I just try to stick to 40-30-30 and the right amount of calories but to be honest I still eat Doritos and tacos from time to time) and working out 5 times a week, 1-2 hours each day.

I take a spinning class 3 times a week, kickboxing 2 times a week and combine them with a 20-40 min run, a strength routine and this app when Im home.

I know! I'm 23, I live alone and work all day so eeeverday I ate fast food and I didn't workout not even a little, I gained 26 lbs in one year until I decided to stop making excuses, went to a nutritionist and joined the gym. Now I cook everyday and I learned to manage my time to workout, is not really that difficult, when eating healthy I feel better with more energy and there's no guilt after. When Im craving for hamburguer I cook a portobello burguer instead or when I want pancakes with whipped cream I cook...

Motivation & Support / Amount of calories

I don't think so, if you really want to know how many calories you're burning you should get a HRM, Polar is the leader brand.
