Weight Loss / Help I am confused!

I'm 166 lbs, 5`3 in height , bmi of 29.5 overweight category. I am watching what I eat now, working out almost everyday! I am confused what workout to do to lose weight especially in the belly area.

What is the best workout to lose weight and trim my tummy?

I am thinking of tabata is it effective? Suggestions please, .

Is workout with a dumbells can make me more larger or muscular?

Lifting weights will not make you bulkier it will speed up metabolism and burn fat I have had sucsess with interval training(cardio) 2-3 times a week then heavy weights 3x a week low reps. don't do weights on days with high rate cardio.

I agree with Jasmin here. I'm your same height and used to be 192.Now I am around 147. Still have belly fat, so I keep working but there is no trick I'm finding out. Basic reality is what I'm eating. When I don't eat those things that cause me to hold weight, don't starve myself, drink water, and be a decent person in life with others, the weight shifts and I feel better. Good luck. You'll find your way.

I found our tape measure finally after cleaning our room.. I just loss 3 inches off my waist! Yay!

๐Ÿ˜ป thanks everyone for keeping me motivated! We can do this

30 day shred Day 5 done I feel proud of myself..
Abs slicer done ( need to do this everyday )
Breakfast is digestive whole wheat biscuit and a coffee
Morning snack is ripe mango and a coffee
Lunch 1/2 cup of rice and a duck egg (not too healthy but sometimes I am craving or a salty food)
Snack : dumplings
Dinner hotdog sandwich and mango shake
Did walking for 1 1/2 hours!

No weightloss for me, but that is fine.. the important thing is I feel stronger by working out and eating healthy. keep up the good work guys.. hope that we can reach our goal.. goodluck guys

Hi ameer about my hubby also he has a gout what workout can you recommend him..? He alsdo hsve the gout lumps, what foods or herbs can cure it naturally?

Stay away from red meat and cholesterol. Don't workout if it hurts. No workout can heal gout you need medication and if it's getting worse I highly recommend him to see a doctor

I feel energized.

Yea..walking does more than you think..just do it and one day u will wake up and the weight is gone..drinking water is the key also..add lemons cucumbers limes and strawberries to the water it helps detox and it works. You can do it..remember it's mind over matter
