Workouts and Programs / I know it might be dangerous but

Kegels...if u don't know how or where, its really simple. Go to the bathroom and stop your urine..those are the muscles you will be working. And you can do them anywhere anytime. Just don't continue to do it in the toilet, that's more of a guide on how to do it cuz its hard to explain Lol.

30 Somethings / What Made You Change?

I have always been a beautiful person on the inside but never thought I was beautiful on the outside. In my opinion, the two should match. So I wanted to lose weight... then I lost a sister to a heart attack and know I have to get healthy, I don't want that to be me. I know how it feels to have everyone else tell you that you look fine but when you look in the mirror you disagree. Every one deserves to feel beautiful in their own eyes and now no one can tell me other wise. I truly wish you the very best of luck finding what you're looking for.

Cooking / Diet

Oatmeal is a good filler, so is whole wheat toast. Hard boiled eggs, cream of wheat, fresh fruit and I personally like Turkey Bacon if u want meat. Just some of the things I like to have for breakfast

The part about you always being hungry... eat whole grains, they digest slower so you feel full longer. The same applies to fiber rich veggiesHave a glass of water with every meal and drink between bites...this helps u eat more slowly and that gives your brain the time it needs to register that you're getting full so you don't over eat. :-)  hope this helps

Their are two types of carbohydrates 1)simple 2)complex ...ths has to do with their chemical structure simple carbs break down quickly and are not very nutritional...where as complex carbohydrates break down more slowly and contain greater amounts of vitamins as well as minerals and fiber ths is y they make u feel fuller longer...and drinking water does indeed make u feel full tho no calories r being added so ur going to feel hungry again chance are if ur hungry ur not eating enough plain and simple

No competition... I know what simple and complex carbs are, if not for anyone else I know it for myself. I know that water doesn't add calories but it helps to stop overeating. You don't have to like my advice and you don't have to have a comment for everything I find that annoying, its like you're trying to prove better than me. And I really don't care for that kinda thing

Has anyone else had a csection? Just wondering how you rebuilt those muscles afterwards?

If the cut goes side to side it will be much more difficult because more muscle tissue will have been damaged and may never go back to pre pregnancy. If the cut is up and down you should have better success. Regardless of the cut. I would say to focus on your obliques to pull and draw the tissues upward along with the planks vs straight sit ups or lower leg lifts.

Omg you sound like me...I loves my sweets. You can try eating fruit and trust me I know its a different type of sweet but it helps sometimes. If you really need cake or whatever... have it, just don't have too much too often and make room for it in your calorie count or, what I do is plan to add in an extra work out. Even if I only burn 100 extra  calories, it adds to the amount you can eat which may not make you lose the weight but you shouldn't gain it either.

Motivation & Support / Burning cal at work?

So, I have a question for anyone who has an idea... I work in a nursing home as a cna and for 7 hrs of my shift I am walking or standing. I know in some way this is a workout but I'm trying to figure out how to calculate this and add it to my workouts in my fitness pal.

I wore my watch and heart rate monitor to work one day and let it run until I got off...it said I burned 1478 in that shift. Should I add that to my daily workout or do I not count that as a workout?

Ok , so I can't figure out how to stop the mindless nibbling. When I work I serve breakfast and lunch in the dining room and sometimes the girls give us stuff because they don't want to throw it away. When I'm out at events I grab things without thinking and I have a huge habit of eating when im bored. Its just so hard to break those old habits.. any advice?

Idk ..how bout saving some of your days caloric recommendation just for mindless nibbling...like if ur daily caloric needs is 2000 save bout 300 or more and count as ur mindless nibbling resources

Maybe carrying around with you a healthy snack can help, you just have to form a habit.

At first I was doing it to get skinny cuz I hated my body and still do, but that's not a good enough reason so I lost motivation. Then my sister died way too young of a heart attack and now I'm determined to be healthy for my life and not to leave my little boy at an early age. 👼
