Cooking / To count or not to count?

i was counting at first as well usinh fitness pal but i fell off but my weight continued to drop. now i was making solid choices with my diet like making healthy options meal to meal and making better choices. also eat in colors n stay away from any and everything white and water water water but u have to have alot of calories in one day to set u back so just dont worry. its not the most important as long as u learn what ur eating n how it affects ur goals

I think your sister should realize her kid needs to change what he eats. You should talk about that with her. Teaching a kid to eat healthy is one of the mos important things a mother should so. Also, it's really hard to keep up with a diet when you don't get support from those around you, I mean like when they different more yummy food. Maybe you should consider moving out if you can, if your family's not willing to help you with your diet. Keep up the exercise!!! :)

I wish it was as simple as me moving out. I moved in with my sister to help out with my nephew for a few years till she is done with her current assignment. We have since day down and had a long serious talk about it. I think I finally got it across that sugar and breads and junk food is my cigarettes or crack. She is trying to be more helpful and trying all the crazy things I come up with. I guess being thin she just doesn't understand why it's so hard.

Weight Loss / keep up positive :) workout ...

A clean diet of fiber n protien. Nothing white only color food red meat is ok as long as its lean. I just did fish fried baked what ever tuna out the can salmon fresh and canned and a nice colorful salad or steamed veg and fish is nothing calorie wise so u can have 2 or three pieces if ur not full cuz some exercise days are horrible on the diet. And water water water. I have lost almost 30lbs and went from a size 18 to 10-12 it works. N i still have bad days where im eating the sugar and stuff but it dosent set me back at all. Hope this helps

You NEED rest! Trust me, I used to think rest days were for wimps! I trained 7 days a week and I sprained my foot which was badly sprained for 3wks! This was a HUGE setback! Even though I knew it was sprained I continued to work on it. It shouldn't take an injury that set me back and made me lose my motivation for a few months. Now I know the importance of rest and developed a new motto! Train hard and appreciate your rest days. As when you get to taking it more seriously and pain lasts for...

I think 7 days is far too much (unless you're doing light exercise I.e. walking, for 3 of them days. If you feel tired or start to have a cold I'd have a few days off- that's a sign your body is getting over worked.
