Weight Loss / I feel like I've tried everything with zero results. I would love any advice!

Weight loss is my primary goal. I'm 5'2 and I weigh 160, goal weight is 110-120.  I've been doing mainly HIIT with weights at home, not in a gym. Thank you so much for your advice! I will definitely check out that book and try and increase my protein and fiber.

I workout 3-4 times a week work outs last 45 min to 1 hour , I keep my calories under 1500 on the days I'm not fasting. Fasting days my calorie intake is around 500. I cook all my meals, do not eat fast food at all. I'm not seeing any results other than some toning. But my job is a desk job so I sit majority of the day. I've been doing this routine for several months, I'm so frustrated and don't know what I'm doing wrong. I am completely open to any suggestions.
