Motivation & Support / Sick feeling

Amber, I can only speak from personal experience but yes, if you hadn't eaten all day then that could make you feel sick after working out.  Though I workout in the morning before eating anything and very seldom feel sick.  The even more important thing is to make sure you stay well hydrated all day.  Feeling light headed and nauseous usually goes along with being dehydrated.

I don't think I was dehydrated as I mainly only drink water but it is possible because I have found myself slacking a little bit in the water drinking department today.

Workouts and Programs / Anyone else doing multiple programs at the same time?

I am doing three right now but normally I do only two at a time. I just try to schedule them on different days and if they overlap, most of the time, I will reschedule one of them to push things out.  I found most of the programs'  routines are under thirty minutes so even doing two a day is only sixty min or less a day.  That is not too much for me but every person is different.

Stress & Relaxation / Stress

So anyone else consistently thrown off track of working out and eating healthy as a result of stress? Especially relationship and emotional stress? I am normally a night owl but force myself to go to bed by ten or so each night so I can get up and workout. Yet on nights like tonight when I am thrown a curveball by people I care about, I can't sleep, I worry, etc. and then I end up not having the energy, etc the next day or two to workout and take care of myself. I know I shouldn't let other people's actions effect me or side track me but that is easier said than done. Just feeling very frustrated.

Its easy to worry but difficult not to..I wouldn't say stop worrying but find out what's bothering you the most and work on it. Never let anything that takes a toil on your emotions which will lead you to stress.

Eating more or less Sleeping too much or too little Isolating yourself from others Procrastinating or neglecting responsibilities

When I say work on it! Take one day at a time, your choices, relationships matters and don't let the externals affect you internally

Welcome Wagon / Newbie looking for tips and workout partners

Welcome Alisha. You will find great encouragement and positive support on the app. I have been a member for a few months and I find I am much more motivated and look forward to working out now that I have people to share the good and bad with related to workout and diet goals and struggles. Please let me know if you would like to have a more involved workout partner to check in with and share with. Best of luck and remember that working out and getting healthy can and should be fun too. :-)

Pro Members Only / Anyone battling Fibromyalgia!!!!

Hi Karla, Mine isn't a result of a c-section but the experts do say that medical things like a c-section can be a trigger to the starting of Fibromyalgia. Mine is a result of spending 10 years of not being properly diagnosed and treated for a severe iron deficiency. What started out in my early thirties with low iron and Restless Legs Syndrome and some related insomnia turned into an ever increasing level of pain in my legs and then hips, arms, neck, everywhere. The whole time my iron was getting lower and lower despite mass amounts of iron supplements. Finally, I pushed my doctor to send me to other specialist to include a Rhemutologist, Neurologist and Hematologist. The Rhemutologist diagnosed me but the Hematologist was the one that finally truly treated my low iron issue. Unfortunately, by then the damage had been done and the Fibromyalgia was in full effect. I can't believe the negative impact it has had on my quality of life compared to what I would have had. However, I am a person that loves to be active, am hyper by nature, and want to live each moment to its fullest so I keep pushing forward and though at times I might have to slow down a bit, I don't stop :-).
