Lisa C. I read you response you could stil law weight with a health clean diet and no exercise a slow process but possible. Always make time to exercise I always l at the busiest people such as the President, singers, other moms with fulltime jobs but take time to work out! Look at your daily activities to see where exercise can be placed make it a priority, schedule it like yu would a doctors appointment that you can't miss! Something is better than nothing 15-30 mins of exercise goes a long way! 
Just my little advise! Practicing being a lifestyle and weight management coach! Lol

Yeah I know I can still lose its just crazy it happens when I stop working out. Oh well I will get to my go eventually

Hi everyone happy Friday yes a group of individuals over 15! Lol! I want to be healthy talk to likeminded individuals my age I'm over 35 and getting healthy! 

Ok is there anyone on Myfitnesspal.com so that we can be friends and encourage each other there? I'm also on RunKeeper as well I need to utilize both of these! Lol! And this app as well...lets stay encouraged we will be fit and healthy.  


One of my goals as I go through this fitness journey is to help others to reach their goals whether fitness or organizing their life just being whole and healthy!

Ok this morning I sat down and wrote out a goal list from July-December I didn't put oh I want to lose so and so amount of weight but put water consumption, working out fairly for 5 days a week and hot yoga on Sundays, no sweets and sugar the "whiten poison", etc...I have a horrible habit of never finishing what I start I can't keep that up I have to change in order to be healthy! I'm also consuming wheatgrass (I have a special blend) and my amino acids as well! If you want to know my special wheatgrass just ask!!! 
Well here I go!!

You can do it. I'm doing monthly challenges. July is no junk, sweets or soda. And in feeling great. I've also made a goal this month to workout 5 days a week.. Do you use an app to track cAls? It's really helped he stay on track, there's r several out there. I use the lose it app. Welcome to our oldies but goodies group :)

I've noticed that if I don't have a goal set first I can't plan on how to get there.

30 Somethings / What Made You Change?

I been on the journey to health and wellness it seems for decades but basically since 2006 but I have an illness and its a constant battle for me to exercise due to pain. I get knocked down with life but I'm back at it again...I refuse to give up! I need to keep my cholesterol down plus I just want to feel good and look in the mirror with satisfaction of how my body looks and not discuss (spelled wrong) so I just can't quit in a lot of pain today, but again I am NOT GIVING UP!

I so love Zumba have been AWOL for months due to injuries and work/school so excited to get back at it! Truly love Zumba...dancing! Should be fun and hard at the same time! Love to sweat! Lol

Yes walked 2.55 miles felt the burn made sure to do hills again today! Outside walking in neighbor/nature loved it!!!

Legs are still sore!!! I walked a different route so as to not do same thing everyday so I may do something different Friday who knows but keeps me excited! Whatever works right? Lol

Weight Loss / How to burn fat

Best bet is some form of cardio and a healthy clean diet. Drink lots of water for example if you weigh 210 pounds drink 105oz of water meaning 1/2 your body weight in ounces. Unless you do cardio you drink more. Hope this helps.
