Women's Locker Room / Exhausted after workouts

I find its best to work out at night because you can recover with almost immediate sleep. Try eating 30-45 min before and 30-45 min after for recovery. Smoking doesn't have much to do with it. I was in tje best shape of my life while I was a smoker. But the most important thing is building up your endurance. If you're feeling like that after a workout then that means you're doing it right (:

Thanks guys. My doctor said I needed to drink some Gatorade because I drink to much water. Hard to incorporate something so sweet but worked well today. Worked out at 11am n am still fully awake!

20 Somethings / Craving super fatty foods

If you're working out you should always have a cheat day where you eat one thing that doesn't go with your usual menu. That way your metabolism doesn't get thrown off.😼

If you're craving something it usually means that your body needs it...not saying you should clog your arteries haha. Just have a bit of it (:

Welcome Wagon / Just joined. Need to stay motivated

Ummm...you have to be in good physical condition for basic...if you feel good physically then you will feel good mentally. There is nothing wrong with great performance...set the bar high and all will follow...they separate the leaders from the followers in basic...

Women's Locker Room / Really want to get rid of my stomach fat faster.

Corey...keep on keepin on...best advice I can give you is combine everybody's advice and make your own plan...everyone is different and it's all about how's it works for you..I do resistance training and I swim and so far I've lost 15 pounds in one month. I have a slow metabolism so I have to eat less than normal to lose weight. Good luck in whatever you chose to do. (^γƒ ^)

if you don't care about anybody Ericka then Why are you offering advice? You need to check yourself before you wreck yourself. Threatening people just shows how unintelligent you really are. They say that people with reduced intelligence tend to get aggressive quickly because they don't possess the cognitive ability to solve things diplomatically...next time someone asks a question don't bother contributing. P.S. You need to increase the frequency of your workouts because they aren't working.

First of all you need to slow your roll....second of all I was just trying to be helpful and provide unbiased information...like I said before..I have studied fitness and nutrition for both men and women...if you can't take constructive criticism then that's an issue you need to work out on your own. Also from what I can see you're diet obviously isn't working so Why recommend a fail to somebody else. Take your scheme back to the drawing board and don't shut people down that are only trying to help.

Don't be afraid of failure..when i first started these workouts i was the same...i couldnt do squat...i started the easy stuff and set a goal. Basic training isnt as hard as its made out to be. People just say that to scare but it doesnt mean you shouldnt be prepared. I dont know how long till you go to basic but dont rush these workouts. Alternate between these and cardio at the gym. Try to avoid the treadmill as much as you can as it can damage your joints..use the cross trainer and the bicycle...alternate between high intensity interval training and steady cardio and you should be fine. Make sure you set that a goal for yourself and never let yourself forget it...i hope this helped a little...good luck with everything! P.S cardio is very important in basic...master that and you'll do great

Ericka, I agree with you about 90%...if you cut out junk food totally your metabolism will have a rude wake up call and not be able to digest them properly...im sorry ericka i'm not trying to undercut what you are saying...im just speaking from experience and 10 years of research...don't load up too much on veggies because they contain alot of carbs and corn is the biggest culprit. You should have a cheat day once a week and only once...where you pick a dish that you aren't normally supposed to eat according to your diet...that way your body wont be thrown for a loop when you have one after a few months or so. Most importantly you have to maintain your diet and dont work out 7 days a week...give your body a day or so to recover. Also mix up your workouts. Confuse the muscles in your body it prevents plateauing. Which means your body wont get used to the workout and stops burning fat. Alot of what ericka told you is spot on..i just thought i would touch on a few more points because i have been where you are now and had people help me through it. Thanks for taking the time to read this and sorry it was so long winded...i drank too much coffee. Ericka again i apologize if i stepped on your toes. Best of luck losing those pounds! O(∩_∩)O
