Health Conditions / Should I workout when I am sick?

I want to workout, but I am sick. If I workout will better for my body or worse?

If it is more of a head cold, stuffy nose or congestion your generally okay. Anything else, get some rest and drink lots of ffluids

If I do yoga would I be able to do the splits easily?

If you want to be flexible your gunna have to do more than yoga try different techniques by stretching everyday like the splits (I'm a dancer)

Sports Injuries & Prevention / Tips on avoiding running injuries

Ice baths.. Hot showers loosen up your muscles.. Our cross country coach told us over and over not to take long hot showers . They slow your pace down so much, and make you feel like crap when you run. Trust me Ice baths work. Been running for a longg time ! I've had Shin splints , and stress fractors in my shins .

Who would take a hot shower before running? I wouldn't necessarily take a cold one either though? Wt?
