I appreciate it! But how do I track foods like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and so on?

Use myfitnesspal pal app. Just search for any product and it tracks the calories,

Weight Loss / I want abs!

Then what would be the best thing to eat?

19 Mar
I would suggest: keep eating the special K cereal for breakfast and the granola bar for lunch, but you should probably eat something with more protein for supper. I would suggest meat with some sort of vegetable. Also, do a lot of core workouts; if you hurt the next day, then you did a good job. That's what I've been doing and I have abs, so obviously I'm doing something right. Hope this helped!

Weight Loss / I want abs!

Hey guys and girls, I'm currently a 17 year old. Today I started my new diet of Special K Red Berries Cereal for breakfast, Special K Protein Bar for lunch and then cereal again for dinner combined with a clear american cherry lemonade sparkling water drink with green tea. I am really strong for my size and weight. My max in bench is 265. But right now I'm trying to cut and get a six pack for the summer. I just cannot burn this fat on my stomach and I do not know why. Anybody help!!!

17 Mar
Probably because the added sugar in a diet of processed Cereals and bars is ridiculous.

Good call Patrick. Stop eating that crap food Skyler. That will help.

Weight Loss / I want abs, extremely close, somebody help!

I am 5"10 155 Plunds. I run a mile every morning and then lift weights after. I'm trying to get abs. My body has the form but I csnt lose the fat over them. I eat healthy, drink a lot of diet green tea, powerade zero and am now taking garcinia cambogia supplements. Why can't I lose this additional fat over my stomach? Help anyone?!!?

Skyler, to get abs you need to have low bodyfat. To get low bodyfat you need to create a calorie deficit. And to create a calorie deficit you need to expend more calories than you consume. So, If you are staying at 155 pounds you will not be losing fat. Work out your maintenance level of calories (you can find calculators on the internet) and subtract 500. This should be your starting point to lose about 1 pound per week. When weight loss stalls, reduce by 500 calories again. You don't really need to lift weights 7 days a week...

If you want abs, then do a lot of crunches and sit-ups everyday. I know that from experience

Lewis is right. I did crazy stuff for abs these past two months i have reduced my caloric intake and my bf has dropped took a lot of effort with the weights and running but i have been seeing results. I also have been doing crunches sit ups and weird ab workouts i find online with a 20 lb weight pretty awesome man my belly has reduced greatly

Takes time man. Genetics have a lot to do with people's effort to get abs. Stick with your cardio, weight training and eating healthy. Don't forget to train your abs 2-3 times a week. Shoot me a message with any questions.

Body Building / Somebody give me guidance please!

Wooh that anabolic protein is really expensive.  Any cheaper route to go thay provides same results?  Maybe combining whey with thermogenic shred?

To a specific level you don't need ANY supplements. Protein intake (aim for about 2 grams per kg body weight) can and should mostly come from natural resources. Eat fish, meat, beans, chicken, eggs... - if you're not aiming competitive bodybuilder this will give you all you need to boost it up. And then: lift heavy things. High weight, low reps. And be patient.

I agree with Matthias. You don't especially need protein powder. Just eat right, lots of lean protein, beans, fish, chicken, spinach (make sure its raw spinach or else its terrible for you), salads, squash, fruits etc. Don't go like all out on pizza and crap food like that, no matter how amazing it is haha. But with that in mind, also reward yourself.

Actually combining a cold processed organic whey with whole milk and cacao powder is a great wAy to get the protein in. Along with eating like the othe comments have advised . But certain proteins like whey with raw milk are really great blends for feeding muscle. I would also say to keep it simple. Heavy weight with compound lifts like bench deadlift squat overhead press weighted dips and weighted chin ups. I haven't done bicep curls in years and never lost tone or density. Also take adequate rest days to allow muscle to rebuild and nervous system recovery. Too...

100% with ryno with this. Unfortunately I do not have enough discpline to ditch heavy lifting, so I do tend to over train lol ohh well

Body Building / Somebody give me guidance please!

I'm looking to get a defined big chest and abs. I want to get my arms bigger and more defined as well. I need guidance as far as eating and supplements to help me achieve these goals. I can get most food needed and will work out as many times as needed. If anybody can make me a plan or give me guidance and help it would be greatly appreciated.

Anabolic protein. One muscle group a day with a short low intensity cardio. Eat s kot of red meat and drink water regularly. With the protein take in some creatine
24 May
Definition = low body fat. Focus on losing fat first. Then do a slow bulk adding muscle while minimizing fat gain.

Body Building / Would appreciate some help!

Well I read to drink protein in the morning to kickstart your muscles.

26 Mar
It would be best to drink 16oz of ice water every morning, that increases your motabalism throughout the day and helps burn calories.. also is scientifically proven to "wake you up" to the equivalent of coffee

Body Building / Would appreciate some help!

Hi, I am 16 Years Old. I workout currently everyday and do a mix of cardio and muscle building workouts. I am currently 5'9 150 pounds and I want to build a bigger chest, abs, and bigger arms. I take a bottle of whey protein shake in the morning, then one after my workout also with a protein bar. Breakfast is usually a nutri grain bar or a Bacon Egg And Cheese Biscuit. Lunch will always be a ham, cheese and bread sub that I get at school. Dinner is usually some form of meat mixed with a couple vegetables. Does anyone have any exercises or tips to help me achieve my goal. Also, my bench max is 165, is that good? My goal is to be at 200. Thanks to everyone that helps.
