Sports Injuries & Prevention / Any martial artists?

For the most part the best thing you can do is just rest. Try to get the most sleep you can, the body heals itself during sleep. To speed up repair, you should get some vitamin C (oranges and strawberries, plus a lot of other fruit) and aminoacids (usual protein based foods, with a focus on white meat and fish in this case). I'm no expert, but these are the ways I know.

Workouts and Programs / ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO GET BIGGER LEGS

Bike/cyclette every day (bike is preferable). If you can afford the time, start boxing. I'm no expert, but from what I know by having done it a couple of years the belief that with boxing you only train arms is generally completely false: legs are the muscles you work the most, arms are the muscles you work the least.

Hodge-Podge / Who's your favorite actor or actress and why?

For actors I'll go with Matt Damon (fantastic in the Bourne triology and Good Will Hunting) andย  Kevin Spacey (American Beauty, LA Confidential!). Actresses... Zooey Deschanel (New Girl!) and Mila Kunis (loved her in Black Swan, also the fact she's stunning).

Welcome Wagon / Help

Half a litre of 100% orange juice plus some chocolate and snacks and I'm good to go. I'd change the snacks with something else but I don't know what...

Ask the Pros / Resting and sports

Hey everyone, i've recently started using this app to put on some muscle mass along with boxing, which I usually do twice a week together with a gym workout. Last week the day after a workout I did here my legs were pretty tired, and that same evening I went to boxe. I couldn't do anything right, my legs had lost coordination and control from the tiredness. My question is, how many days of leg rest would you suggest before I can do sports properly again, so that I can plan my workouts here easier? Are there any tricks I can use maybe when I get back home or after I've done a workout to make sure my legs regenerate quicker?
Thanks.

PS If I feel my muscles tired, should I go do boxing anyway and have a light session or just skip it for that night?

I'm interested in the same sort of question. Should we have rest days - or just cardio days broken up and other activities /or strength days in between? I mean working out burns calories, and gains muscle. Logically you will benefit faster by working out (the right one) everyday, but is this logic not actually accurate? Your body should have days of rest from 'working out'?

Welcome Wagon / Hey everyone

Recently got started with Skimble, I'm loving it so I decided to try out the pro version. I'm aiming to build up some muscle and I feel like I have both the dedication and energy to do it.

I'm also hoping this will be fun, so I'm just here to say hi. :)

P.S. Got gym in an hour!
