Challenges / 10 Miles a Week-Walk/Run/or Hike Challenge

It's been awhile since I've been actively on skimble. Main reason was last phone didn't have memory. We got a treadmill last Saturday and my mile was 22 minutes. Today my mile was 15 min. So I'm getting back into exercise and I'm excited! Smallest I've been in 5 years!

Great!! Follow everyone on the trail and support each other after workouts. Also, support each other when we haven’t worked out so we don’t fall off track!!

Motivation & Support / Who wants to get out of the 200s?

I'm almost out. Had kid 11 days ago and way 220 15 days ago... Have lost 20. Baby weighed 9! Hopefully will keep it going!!!

Workouts and Programs / I'm aiming to do a 5k run/jog this year

This sounds amazing. I always wanted to do something like this! Although life has had obstacles! I'm gonna work on it for next year... B having baby in two months and don't think I can train in time lol!!! You're gonna do awesome!

Weight Loss / Faster way to lose weight

To lose weight fast you've gotta make changes. Permanent ones. I lost 50 in 3 months when I was 16... I can not lose 10 now. A big part is choices. I ate lota of fruits and veggies. I exercised 30 min to hour. Before breakfast. Then ate small but nutritous. Snacks were fruits and veggies. Lunch salad with couple crackers and meat. Dinner I had a salad. 20 minutes before and 10 minutes before grapefruit. Small dinner and night time snack air popped popcorn. I also did 100 jump n jacks twice a sometimes three times. Rode bike to. Gym because I lived in small town mostly jogged on treadmill for about 45 minutes ride bike back. Jogged with dog for ten minutes few times a week. I still mowed yard and worked on garden. I started at 200 though and weight comes off faster when you're bigger. I ended up stuck at 150 though. I also did my morning workout in light sometimes and arm weights at home at least every other day. You can do it just depends on time and effort you put forward. I honestly don't do much now. But 7 months pregnant and two kids I'm happy to get chores done lol. Keep going!

Diet & Nutrition / Best foods for a healthier diet.

Making sure you eat lots of fruits veggies and lean proteins would be first. You need breads but its better to have while grains instead of white. Sometimes we underestimate how much we are eating... I've done this allot! Good kick on your journey!

That's a great question unfortunately I have no answers. Is say the expensive ones are more effective but who knows. I've heard you want a high amount of gc in the product and that sometimes the other ingredients make a difference.

I've heard its harder but never impossible! In the end don't give up exercise even without toning up reduces many health risks! Keep it up!

Weight Loss / Can I shed 5kgs within 2 weeks?

If you don't weigh a lot doing that much will mean lots of work. I did 20 in two weeks when started at 200. But your body works harder with extra weight. All I can say is eat healthy... Very healthy. Exercise as much as possible and you'll get results! But to say amount I couldn't. Just do your best!

Weight Loss / Getting Started

IM 172 n it's still hard it gets easier though mines partly asthma keeping me feeling sick. Walking is good. I've been doing intervals 30 sec run fast as can and 30 walk fast. I do 8 round so far soon will start 11. jumping jacks and jump rope good also pushups great for arms lunges and squats good for legs crunches for tummy. But be sure to get cardio on though or your muscles will hide under your fat. I've been lazy with cardio... Well good luck!  :-)

Three months I keep thinking I'm doing something wrong eating too much or too little our that cheating once a week is messing me up then I realized hard as ice Beth working maybe there's just a change needed to trick the body

OK someone that may know lol. I know walking is great exercise. So will I lose weight eating 1200 n doing more than 10. Or is there something else I should so. I'm not patient either lol so it's getting rough... I'm at a plateau

I hear weight lifting boosts metabolism, I just am not consistent with it to know for sure.
